Amazon’s first big sale event of the year doesn’t start until tomorrow, but you can already save big on its Echo smart devices.
It’s no surprise that Amazon is selling its own-brand gadgets at low prices, it always does during sales events but it means it’s a chance for you to kit out your home for a fraction of the price.
Two of the best deals see you saving more than 50% starting with the Echo Pop Alexa-enabled smart speaker, which is normally £44.99 but down to just £19.99 saving you a whopping 56%.
You can choose any of the four colours and there are also deals if you want to bundle it with an Alexa smart plug, Philips Hue lightbulb or battery base.
It didn’t get a rave review when we tested it out but at this price makes for a bargain speaker somewhere like a kid’s room where audio quality isn’t paramount.
If you need something with more audio oomph then the Echo (4th gen) with Dolby and smart hub capabilities is half price making it yours for only £54.99, down from £109.99.
Again, you can choose all three colourways and there are bundles which add extra savings. We gave it a 4-star review with an Editor’s Choice award.
Amazon calls these ‘Early Spring Deals’ and although there’s a chance the prices drop even lower for the sale period (20-22 March) we doubt that will be the case. Deals on Echo devices haven’t started in the US yet but it shouldn’t be long to wait until those prices get slashed for the Big Spring Sale as it’s called there.
