The Mark Zuckerberg-led company is now planning to connect its photo sharing platform Instagram to the popular messaging platform WhatsApp.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the company has rolled out a new update (version up to 2.23.25.20.) through the Google Play Beta Program. The update reveals that the company is developing an optional feature that will allow Android users to share their status updates to Instagram. The report also claims that the feature will be available with an upcoming update of the app.
WhatsApp is also reportedly working on an optional feature to offer users the ability to automatically share their status updates to Facebook Story. This feature will simplify the process of updating one’s status across different apps and will help users to save time at times when they want to share the same content on both Facebook and WhatsApp.
