Samsung is all set to launch its next generation Galaxy S-series smartphones. The South Korean smartphone maker is expected to launch its Galaxy S24 series of smartphones in January 2024 at an event in San Francisco. Now a new report has surfaced online revealing the likely pricing details of the upcoming smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series is said to consist of three smartphones — Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Now a Korean publication has reported that Samsung is planning to launch the new Galaxy S24 series smartphones at the same price as its predecessors.
Along with this, Samsung may also bring the satellite texting feature to the Galaxy S24 series. The upcoming Galaxy S-series smartphone is tipped to support emergency texting via satellite connection. This is the same feature which Apple introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 expected features
Online leaks have created significant excitement surrounding the imminent launch of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This eagerly awaited device is poised to feature an impressive 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED LTPO display, boasting a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate.
An intriguing upgrade is expected in the frame department, with reports indicating a shift from the Aluminum frame seen in its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, to a more robust Titanium frame.
In terms of performance, the phone is set to be powered by the much-anticipated Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, slated for debut later this year. The primary camera is rumored to retain its outstanding 200MP sensor, complemented by a 12MP sensor, a 50MP sensor, a 10MP sensor, and a 12MP selfie camera.
Running on Android 14 with One UI 6, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to house a formidable 5000mAh battery, supporting convenient 45W charging.
