Several months after it launched in China, the Xiaomi 14 series has finally made its global debut.
The regular Xiaomi 14 looks to be a worthwhile successor to last year’s Xiaomi 13, while the 14 Ultra is the first Ultra model to make it to Europe. However, there’s no sign of the Pro model outside China.
With pre-orders live now, here’s everything you need to know about buying one of the phones.
When will the Xiaomi 14 series be released?
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro were unveiled in China on 26 October 2023, before the 14 Ultra made its debut there on 22 February 2024.
Just three days later, on 25 February 2024, the regular 14 and 14 Ultra launched in Europe. They’ll go on sale on 19 March.
However, the Pro model hasn’t yet launched in Europe, and all signs point to it never being released outside China.
How much does the Xiaomi 14 series cost?
Here’s a full pricing for the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in Europe:
- Xiaomi 14 (12GB RAM, 256GB storage) – £849/€999
- Xiaomi 14 (12GB RAM, 512GB storage) – £899/€1,099
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra (16GB RAM, 512GB storage) – £1,299/€1,499
Both are undoubtedly flagship smartphones, though the Ultra is up there with the most expensive Android phones you can buy.

Where to buy the Xiaomi 14 series in the UK
There are a couple of options when it comes to pre-ordering the Xiaomi 14 in the UK:
- Xiaomi – free Xiaomi Pad 6
- Amazon – £50 off 12/512GB model when you apply coupon, cheapest model not available
There are also two options for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra:
- Xiaomi – free Xiaomi Pad 6, Photography Kit accessory, 3 months of YouTube Premium and 6 months of 100GB cloud storage
- Amazon – £100 off when you apply coupon
Neither of the Xiaomi 14 phones are available to pre-order on contract, and that’s unlikely to change once they go on sale. Instead, you’ll have to buy one outright and pair with a SIM-only deal.
Can you buy the Xiaomi 14 series in the US?
Xiaomi doesn’t sell any of its phones in the US, and that’s not changing for the 14 series.
However, it may be possible to import one from Europe, and it may still work with a US SIM card. However, it still isn’t guaranteed to work.
